Susan Weiner Bio

IMG_8272Susan Weiner cut her teeth as a business writer in New York City, tracking the consumer electronics industry and diverse entrepreneurial start-ups while pursuing an interest in natural living and holistic healing.

In addition to business articles and book reviews, she’s published national features on herbalism, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy, reflexology, yoga, cancer, heart disease, natural pet care, stroke, Reiki, meditation, bone health, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and a range of environmental issues.

Susan conceptualizes and writes websites, and crafts copy for business brochures and other marketing and creative ventures. She has written for Ithaca College’s ICView, co-authored a book on Alzheimer’s disease, The 2010 Johns Hopkins Memory White Paper, and was a long-term editor at Energy Times, a national health and nutrition magazine. As past editor-in-chief of an entertainment magazine, she’s interviewed celebrities including Billy Joel and Samuel L. Jackson.

A vinophile at heart, Susan has managed wineries overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake, and written professionally on the wine industry. Currently, Susan and her fiance are fixing up their 1864 farmhouse while building an environmentally friendly home on a 12.5 acre property close to the wineries she loves. An avid animal lover and advocate, she is the happy guardian to rescued dogs, cats and chickens.
